It's so warm and sunny outside and I'm enjoying every minute of it. Life has been quite busy lately, so my SL plans keep getting delayed, but hey, small progress is still progress, right? I have lots of energy (yay, sunshine!), so I get through the day without feeling overly tired. I am excited for the things to come and meanwhile I enjoy SL just as a resident (and not a designer!). Today I visited St. Palm Bay, a lovely beach location, perfect for soaking up the sun and watching waves. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a place to take some summertime photos.

A lot has happened since my last entry, both in the world and in my life. My plans for Second Life has been delayed but not cancelled. I'm taking my time and slowly get things done.

I've been working very hard on a new logo and visual identity for MAGIC NOOK. I'll miss the old logo a little bit but I think it deserves a happy retirement. As my vision for the brand evolved, I wanted more modern, mature and balanced look for the logo, that would also effectively communicate my brand values. I explored a lot of shapes, colours and fonts before settling on the final design and today I want to share it with you.

It's got so cold here in Poland that I walk around the house hugging my cherry stone warming pillow all the time. It's been a stressful few weeks in RL, so with all this cold wet windy weather each morning is a struggle to get out of bed and go to work ;) But I try to stay warm and cosy by wearing fluffy sweaters and drinking hot orange tea (it helps!). Luckily in SL autumn is always pretty and relaxing!

Hey, everyone! I'm slowly making my way back to Second Life! I haven't been here in a while due to many reasons, but now I plan to visit more often and I definitely want to update my store and start releasing new items again. So excited! But first I want to explore a bit and see what changed. And wow, a lot has changed.



It's only been a few years, but when I first logged in after the break, I felt like a newbie. I'm actually quietly back since August and luckily I figured out the answers to most of my questions. It was very surprising that everyone is wearing mesh bodies and heads now, and no one really makes clothes for classic avatars anymore.

I updated my avatar and I am happy that I still look like me, but it was a horrific experience ;) It's much easier to create an avatar if you're a new resident, but if you are used to how your avatar looks, it can be very challenging. If you noticed that I was in your store and bought all the demos, I was just trying to find the right combination for me... It feels like I literally tried almost all possible demos of everything until I found what I was looking for... It took me a lot of time and I am really happy it's done!

I updated my avatar, I updated my blog layout (still tweaking it a bit) - now I need to update my store and start designing new items. I've lost my whole update group, so until I start a new one, you can find all the news here on my blog. Stay tuned!

It's time for a new release for the Dressing Room! This week I made a minimalist necklace again. It's a petite circle on a delicate chain. I've been experimenting a little with textures, and this time I went for more shiny/realistic material - I hope everyone will like the improvement!
